(more)We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers. (more)We stayed at the house for 4 nights with our teenage boys and we were so happy we did. Corinne and Benoit make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive...It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in France! Benoit does great excursions so highly recommend you go on his tours too!
(more)Magnificent! We had a wonderful time in Lubrin. John was an excellent host - informative and very attentive. The accommodation was outstanding value for money. The gardens and pool were a real delight. We will definitely return.
(more)We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.
(more)Living in a cave for a week was quite extraordinary. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely break, an adventure which we all enjoyed and gorgeous weather and views in a part of Spain not usually visited by tourists. (more)Some of the most memorable parts of the holiday were: finding eggs in the hen house, lying in the bath at Fisherman's Cottage watching the sea, wine tasting at La Cantina, Teguise & at El Grifo Bodega and driving on the fabulous, twisty, unique scenic roads. I don΄t think that I've ever felt so relaxed. Staying in a simple (but clean and neat) hut in the jungle and listening to the sounds of birds and sometimes even elephants made me feel very, very, very happy and close to nature. (more)
Travelling in a dug out canoe on the river between The Gambia and Senegal amongst the mangroves and seeing so much bird life was the most exciting part.
