Fantastic! Most memorable were the lovely hosts who picked us up at the railway station and delivered us to another station after our stay.

I hesitate to write this review for selfish reasons. Why? Because this holiday is so wonderful I'd rather keep it a secret! Situated on the southern slopes of Mt Batakaru in remotest Bali, this place is a pocket of paradise, far removed from the ravages of the 21st century. Having spent a week there I did not want to leave.

We thought the service was excellent. We loved the laid back attitude...On a few evenings we had dinner on the beach with a fire underneath the beautiful starry sky which we thought was quite special. The most memorable part were the ...scones on arrival (they were the best I have ever tasted!), walking around the beautiful country side and the farm... (more)We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. The entire experience was an absolute blast. The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travellers.... If you are after a different kind of holiday where you can both relax and have a few adventures this is it. (more)
Excellent. There is something quite magical about the site. Not sure if it is the caravans, the scenery, or Perry and Collene. Either way, we came away refreshed, and for the first time ever, we are really considering going back rather than continually finding new places to visit. (more)
Marks out of 10 - 10! Really enjoyed the set up of the cabin, very thoughtfully done with lots of information, loads of smashing little touches (loved the walkie talkies!) & fresh baked muffins as a welcome did it for me. The location was exquisite.

Living in a cave for a week was quite extraordinary. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely break, an adventure which we all enjoyed and gorgeous weather and views in a part of Spain not usually visited by tourists. (more)
It's hard to say what the most memorable thing was but one memory that stands out is being served an absolutely delicious breakfast every day at a table with a perfect white table cloth surrounded by flowers, friendly hens and kittens - all right on the edge of a stunning beach! (more)
At every state Ihsan and everyone else gave us the impression that serving us at all hours of the day and night was their pleasure. It was a delight.
