Weddings in Tobago
We spend a great two weeks at the retreat. Porridge (the manager) and his staff make anything possible and are very nice to be with. A very friendly atmosphere at the accommodation as well as in the village. Beautiful garden around the accommodation and a great beach below.  (more)

Weddings Abroad

Looking into weddings abroad is a good idea. Choosing a foreign setting for your big day can often save you thousands of pounds and getting married overseas can often be very romantic. Try St Lucia for a tropical paradise setting for your big day, or Tobago, which is ideal for a beach reception with an ocean backdrop and romantic sunsets.

Another popular alternative to the high stress Western weddings is to tie the knot in Thailand, Chiang Mai weddings have an authentic Thai rural flavour, set in tropical gardens flanked by the Royal Forest. Sri Lanka is also a great destination for weddings abroad. The wedding ceremonies are conducted according to Buddhist religious and cultural rites going back thousands of years and are a colourful vibrant experience. For a really unique experience, you can opt for a wedding in Lapland, Finland, where you can hold the ceremony in a candlelit igloo or stand before an ice altar in the middle of a frozen lake.

"Where in the world does an adventure travel addict take his bride on honeymoon? To Everest Base Camp, perhaps? To the North Pole for a tandem parachute jump? Or maybe even a swing through the guerrilla-infested cordilleras of Colombia?" Find out where this happy couple went after their wedding, read this wedding article.
