The highlight of my trip was the Jalore Wildlife Sanctuary. I was welcome by the owners of the land and taken around on night safaris by the son Ravindra.

A hike in the jungle with a local guide from the aboriginal people was the most memorable part of the holiday

Gosh, difficult to say which part out of so many! I am reviewing the holiday five
months later and still remember everything about our stay here. The delicious
food and warm hospitality from the hosts, the beautiful scenery and the long
walks will stay with me forever, I think.

The walk is simply spectacular with magnificent views over the escarpment every step of the way....The people are really lovely and very welcoming and we found it an extraordinary privilege to meet them and learn about their lives.

Our vacation was a dream come true. Owner, Keith has built the whole place by hand with logs he found on the nearby beaches. What he has done is remarkable and his wife Randi adds the special touches that make the place really feel like being home.

It is so hard to pinpoint the best part; it was all a fabulous experience. This is a place where you can completely relax and refresh your mind, body and soul.

The camel ride to the dinner at the Bedouin tent; dinner at the tent; and the night in the "desert" were the most memorable parts.

Visiting the nearby village was a real eye-opener and an experience I could not have obtained any other way in a short holiday of three weeks in Tanzania. The Barbours were most welcoming and kind and I felt part of the family.

I don΄t think that I've ever felt so relaxed. Staying in a simple (but clean and neat) hut in the jungle and listening to the sounds of birds and sometimes even elephants made me feel very, very, very happy and close to nature.

Thanks for including the lodge on your website. We would never have taken the five day desert safari without it as our destination. Our highlight of the trip was taking a half day camel trip into the sand hills behind the lodge. The camel guides and camels were great.

Every moment of the holiday was special, the walks with wonderful views of the lake, swimming in the lake, the friendship of our hosts Kyle and Niya will never be forgotten.

The trip was amazing. A kayak, a small island to swim to, and fruit trees all over the property was a dream vacation for us.... This trip is truly for the adventurous.
All semester at sea travelers would truly be in heaven. This trip was a true connection to nature and the beauty that still exists.

The most memorable part of my holiday was spending the day in the school. Seeing the kids' smiling faces while enjoying learning was awesome. It appears that the operator knows that every child has the ability and right to learn. They've created a space for these children to do just that and it is obviously the kids feel like it is "their" place...Amazing!

It was really a beautiful lodge, wonderful staff, food, kayaking, yoga, massages. I totally loved it. Also, the other guests were great.

To me the most memorable was being away from it all. The solitude is incredible as is the flora and fauna.
