| Moscow to the End of the Line Posted 27 Aug 2009 by Nick Harper Well, nearly anyway.After flying from London to Moscow and spending 3 days sightseeing in the Russian capital, my friend Rich and I boarded the Trans-Mongolian train that would take us all the way through to Beijing. | Khakassia hiking 2007 - Trip report part 3 Posted 23 Jan 2007 by Evgeny From the one side we saw Tuvinian mountains of 3,000 metres or higher, on another side we saw notched peaks, and from the third side we saw smoothed mountains and many lakes - huge and tiny. Soon the forest zone had finished and we were walking on the swampy highland tundra with a dwarf birch bushes. To lake Posarym - the purpose of our today's trip - we got at twilight.
