I spent 7 unforgettable days in Rome. Usually, when I travel, I stay in Hotel but this time I followed a suggestion of friend of mine and I rent a comfortable and practical apartment located just 50 meters from the Piazza Navona and Pantheon and Campo dè Fiori (see the web portal http://www.leonholidayapartments.com). Not-so Earth-friendly Earth Day Concert, Rome

Last night I attended the National Geographic Earth Day free concert in Rome. According to the blurb 1000 trees were going to be planted in one of Rome's parks to offset the 341.000 kg of CO2 that the concert will produce, as well as planting a small forest in Costa Rica, miles and miles away from this, one of Europe's most polluted and dirty cities.
