Two weeks at the Travancore Heritage in Kerala with a two night trip to the backwaters in the middle. The hotel is fantastic (although it may not be suitable for elderly or those not wanting long walks as on a cliff) and I was able to have a daily yoga class with my own 'guru'. | Kenya - On to Maasai Mara Posted 17 Jul 2008 by Lyn Driven back to Nairobi again... had we know the roads are so bad would have arrangee to fly back! Have lunch at Carnivore restuarant (not much cop really) and then on to Wilson Airport to fly to the Mara. Arrive in a thunderstorm and get totally drenched getting out of plane and into the jeep! Camp is smaller than in Amboslei but lovelly and the staff are very friendly. Our Guide Gorden is fab!...more... |
