I'm an extremely passionate .. traveler.

I'll be spending the next year in Kenya working for a British tour operator [web link] and doing some voluntary work in a local district development consortium as an ICT and smart communities coordinator. In the meantime i have an opportunity to exercise my passion of adventuring from the beach to the mountains, from glamour concert nights to promoting local crafts for fair trade, and a lot more...

Join me if you're in the same country at the same time!

I love to travel to places that are still (relatively) untouched by mass tourism, hidden gems, whether these are close or far away. 'Feel' the places I visit, mingle with the local community, immerse in their history and their culture.
Dream places to visit ? Oh, so many. But mainly - and to start with - South Africa, Vietnam, Laos & Camboia, Lybia, Mali & Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Peru, Equador, Tibet, etc. etc...

I am a born traveller/backpacker/nomad...Been travelling out from Europe since 1981...This time, which will be the first time to the African continent , starting with the Dessert MUSIC Festival, a dream since some years, I do need information on transportaion from Bamako to ESSAYKANE/TIMBUKTU...also someone to travel with would be great...I speak some french and some other languages...I guess I am quite a rough traveller...Our world is full of great places/paradises...all from the Carribean and southeastAsian islands and cristalline waters as well as the high Himalayas with it's breathtaking nature...Europe is great as well as the US and Canada...Southamerican countries I only travelled recently and could go back and stay for some good time...especially Equador, Bolivia and Colombia...Mother INDIA is my all time favourite...a never ending story..Africa is yet untouched territory apart from two visits to Egypt, 25 years apart from eachother....Dreamplaces to visit would be the Tonga islands...and Zansibar...places I have not yet seen....At this point of my life I would love to meet somebody to travel with...Somebody a bit rough and truely experienced to be on the road with good communication skills....Love to you all...
