2004-2005 was a great period for us: 15 monts travelling around the world, from Mexico to Panama via central america, Equador to Chile, New Zealand and Australia (where we had studied and lived for a year previsouly) to finish the trip via Viet Nam, Laos, Thailand, Nepal and India...We have settled down now in St Jeannet, the home village of Benoit, certainly one of the most beautifull place in the world..."after Reunion Island !!! " adds Corinne :) (where she grew up and spent most her life). Now we are still looking for beautifull places to go, more special people to meet, and stay young forever :)

I like big empty spaces, the desert and the mountains and i'm very happy to rough it. I like to travel light. Travel for me is all about the people, mind bending scenery, funny smells, spotting new creatures, being shaken up, learning, having my old ways of thinking challenged..... and delicious food!! Equally, sometimes you just want to get hammered and eat ice cream for breakfast on the beach!

after a while living on the same spot, i receive travel chillins, electro magnetic radiation that tells me to move on, something like that. Tenerife is where i live at the moment, enjoying my days working on an organic farm and exploring the volcanic island. There is much to see, some things of exagerating beauty, i love it. And there is lot to talk o mejor dicho listening, canarios love to express their opinion. When i think of it, fact is that i am living her, and not travelling, although it feels so. naja, feel free to ask what you feel i might know and keep travelling around. I will too.

Hi there. I've worked as a freelance journalist for the past seven years, which has allowed me to travel all over the world by myself, writing and taking pictures of all the interesting things I see. I've pretty much travelled solo since I was 16, reckoning it to be the best way of meeting people and having the most adventures. Travelling alone can be both exhausting and daunting because there's nobody to act as a buffer between you and the world around you, or pick you up after a hard day. Or help to make decisions... (I'm rubbish at making decisions.) But on the flip side, everything that happens to you is you're own doing, and you can direct it however and wherever you want. You can please yourself. And you learn a great deal and have heaps of fun in the process. At the moment, I can't seem to get enough of South Africa, New York, Cambodia and Nepal. But I'd really love to visit Japan, Norway, Mali and India.

Travel, for me, is about taking things in. I like to travel slowly. The slower you travel the more time you have to take things in. Travel and thinking is the best combination I know, travelthinking is what I would call it if it needed a name. Plus you travel responsibly when you think about how you travel and that is the only way to go for me, especially now I work for responsibletravel.com!

Travelling for me is all about experiences - be it organised, inexpensive, spontaneous or unique.

My favourite travelling experience was spending 6 weeks trekking around Madagascar in 1997 (Antananarivo to Antalaha via Maroansetra, Nosy Mangabe and Cap Est - pure heaven) despite returning with typhoid! The culture, flora and fauna of Madagascar was simply amazing, and seeing aye-ayes on night hikes was fabulous.

Other amazing I have had the privilege to travel to are India (Ranchi, Raipur Chhattisgargh and Delhi), Venezuela, Kenya, The Gambia, Marrakech, Turkey and extensively by catamaran along the Cote d'Azur.

In September and October 2009 my partner and I spent our honeymoon travelling around Namibia, Botswana and Zambia which was AWESOME! During this, we volunteered for 2 weeks with Biosphere Expeditions and the Wildlife and Community Development Fund (WCDF) working on their human predator conflict project which was fantastic. We were sorry to have to leave.

Next on our plans are Borneo, Brazil and Rwanda..... but we have also realised that there is so much of the UK that we havent explored yet....

After having a bad road traffic accident at the end of last year it turned my life upside down because of the injuries I suffered. It made me realise how fragile life is and how short, so I have decided when I am able to I want to do as much as possible before I get too old, lol. My kids are grown up now so I am freer to do something for myself. I would love to go on an extreme adventure somewhere in the World. Probably cos I have spent most of my time while recovering watching Extreme Dreams, Ray Mears (who is my hero) so it has ignited my imagination! In the meantime I am trying to get fit again doing lots of walking and have set myself a challenge to do a walk to raise money for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust who were there for me when I needed them. I plan to walk part of the Coastal Path down the South West of Cornwall. Places I would love to visit are New Zealand (particularly the Zion Wildlife Park to meet the lions and tigers) Thailand, China (cos I would like to visit the Tiger Sanctuary run by Buddists there), Costa Rica, Galapagos, the Inca Trail, Canada and more...

I love travelling anywhere, and anyhow!
I like adventure, I love roughing it, and luxury too when I save enough..anything's good!!!!
I think Switzerland is amazing, and Lauterbrunnen is one of the most beautiful places to camp in the world. Travelling round some of south India was fabulous, and Mamallapuram with all the stone temples was fantastic. Dubai is crazyilly over the top, I love Paris, and Morocco is very cool. Also just love the Lake District, and being by the sea.
I'd love to travel round Japan, and go back to Zambia where I was born and really experience the country now I'm an adult.
