I'm a sustainability consultant with an interest in wildlife and wild places. So far, Africa is my passion with Madagascar and Gabon on my 'can't wait to go' list - I also love the Kruger and I'm just back from a great self drive safari there which was incredible - see my photo album. In 2010, I'm looking forward to seeing the mountain gorillas in the Virungas in Rwanda - I won the trip through entering a random Sunday newspaper competition. Antarctica and South America, in particular Guyana and Patagonia, are also places I'd like to explore. |

I am a backpacker at heart and love the adventure of not knowing where I might end up next...I love the chance encounters of people you meet on journeys-from the other travellers, to train staff, to accommodation owners, fishermen, mothers with their children. I love meeting people, talking to them and finding out more about them and their country. I see every experience as a valuable and I love a challenge. I love getting stuck in and enjoy physical holidays -everything from rock climbing to cycling, diving off rocks to kayaking. At the end of a great day I love to unwind with a beer watching the sun go down... |

I love Africa - but so much that it has become another home rather than a travel destination! Places I would like to visit include Beirut, Gabon, and I would like to go back to the Baltic States including the lovely Nida Strip. |

Work in an office so enjoy getting out as much as I can. My wife and I plan to do some walking holidays. Once we build up our fitness levels !!!! We went to Ontario and The Canadian Rockies in Sept 2009. Loved both places. Scenery and the walks in the Rockies were beautiful Went scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef for a couple of weeks in Nov 2006. Would love to get back there Dream places to visit ??? Got to be the mountainous areas of New Zealand. Peru to walk the Inca Trail. Trans Siberian Railway. Rwanda to see the Gorillas. Plus many more I will think of later |
