I am a grandmother of four and have travelled independently to many countries since retiring but for the past 4 years I have been returning to Uganda I have helped a small community in the south west Uganda to open a Guest House that is suitable for volunteers to stay awhile - and then help in the local schools, our own nursery school and with womens groups in the area. I am now actively looking for volunteers to go out there - and be sure that any money they spend - either at the Lodge (£50 per week for full board & accommodation) will stay within and ultimately help that community See www.ugandalodge.com |

I love taking road trips with my partner. Some of my favourite places to go camping are Karijini National Park, Shark Bay (at our secret spot), Margaret River (in the Boronup forest) and in the sand dunes in Lancelin. |
