I have permanent itchy feet and have lived in quite a few places. I've traveled alot by myself for long periods of time..generally with no money at all... That use to be half the fun. Now I prefer a little comfort. I've pretty much loved everywhere I've been, they all have a little special something. There are still many places left on my list... I cross one off, I add two more. |

Best place ever been is Sipadan island. Dived and snorkelled my bikini off for a full week-fantastic! Adore NZ-would love to live there. Love Greece - very relaxing. Red sea for snorkelling :0 Would like to go to Canada and Zanzibar at some point. Top dream holiday destination is Galapagos Islands...... |

Actually I now live in London and also for about 3 months each year in inland Spain approx. 35 min. drive from Alicante near a proper Spanish town called Ibi. We have been renovating a traditional Masia [one of only 15 in the area] which is a large Farmhouse on 14.5 acres with olive grove, pine forest, almond trees and so much more - it is a little piece of heaven. I love to travel and over the years have ventured far and wide and will, I hope, continue to do so but I must admit to loving having a base outside the UK which I can escape to easily and, like I did over Christmas and the New Year, harvest my olives instead of stress out over business matters. For many years when I had a young family I travelled all over Europe renting self-catering accommodation and have become quite an expert so feel free to ask questions. |
