Like many people, time and money restrain my travel fantasies. However, this december, I am going to Antacrtica! I am a photography student (radical career change) and I am dazzled by the opportunities to make pictures afforded EVERYWHERE.

I have a Travel Agency in the US. I have a real passion for travel and have been on many trips. I live in Hawaii. I especially lovee the beauty of nature and wildlife. I especially love cruising. I love music and dancing. I like smiling and making friends with people around the world.

My greatest desire is to visit the Arctic and Antarctica and would love a female travel companion to share costs.

I'm a sustainability consultant with an interest in wildlife and wild places. So far, Africa is my passion with Madagascar and Gabon on my 'can't wait to go' list - I also love the Kruger and I'm just back from a great self drive safari there which was incredible - see my photo album. In 2010, I'm looking forward to seeing the mountain gorillas in the Virungas in Rwanda - I won the trip through entering a random Sunday newspaper competition. Antarctica and South America, in particular Guyana and Patagonia, are also places I'd like to explore.

I have worked in the travel industry for over 20 years & have been to some amazing places. I love travelling & feel very passionate about the countries I specialise in- Cuba, Costa Rica, Peru, Jordan, Argentina, Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands. Each country is very different & offers something unique – which makes then so special. I like diversity & each country has something to fulfil everyone’s interests; whether it is culture, adventure activities, wildlife & nature, lovely hotels etc. Costa Rica is my absolute favourite country to sell & to visit – I just love everything about this very special little country!!

I can say I have never been anywhere & not found something I liked, but the highlights for me are; Arenal Volcano, Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge & Pacuare Lodge in Costa Rica. Visiting the Galapagos Islands on a full 7 night cruise on the La Pinta changed my life. Petra was amazing; Buenos Aires a really cool city; Machu Picchu so mystical & Havana is my favourite city.

I am desperate to visit Antarctica, need to visit Madagascar before it hits the “big time” & changes too much & can you believe I have never been to Italy!

I am the Founder and Managing Director of Worldwide Holidays Direct. Exhilarated and enchanted by my first visit to Cuba in 1995, I went on to found the company to offer tailored holidays based on personal knowledge, initially to Cuba and over time to additional destinations as customers kept coming back for further holiday ideas.

I regularly travel to our destinations, visiting hotels and attractions and most importantly talking with the local staff. This way we maintain a personal relationship with our local representatives, keeping up to date and ensuring we maintain the responsive, informed and personal touch that is so important to us.

I work for responsibletravel.com and love travel and would like to travel more but the usual restraints of time and money hold me back a bit! This is actually a mixed blessing and has helped me to discover that there are so many great places to see in the UK! I also really love British wildlife: it’s not quite as iconic as the big five but you have to admire British wildlife for surviving so long, despite all the attempts to kill it off!

I moved to Grenada in 2000 to start a small sustainable resort. I have been going places during my former executive life; this is the nicest spot I could find. People are very nice, there is no racial issue at all, nature is beautiful and varied and violent crime is very low. It's not overrun by tourists. Hikers will love this paradise.

Travel, for me, is about taking things in. I like to travel slowly. The slower you travel the more time you have to take things in. Travel and thinking is the best combination I know, travelthinking is what I would call it if it needed a name. Plus you travel responsibly when you think about how you travel and that is the only way to go for me, especially now I work for responsibletravel.com!

Living in Brighton I feel very lucky to have such a vibrant city on my doorstep. The Sussex Downs and seaside are close by and so there is always loads to do for me here as well as on my allotment!
I enjoy travelling and have a growing passion for Africa but I also love visiting destinations closer to home especailly for cosy cottage / walking holidays..... my dog has to be considered naturally, she likes the Lake District for long walking trips! Working for responsibletravel.com helps me get great inspiration for breaks away & keeps me up to date on current "travel" thinking!
