travelled a fair bit on nice family holidays within europe. hate total commercialism but appreciate the opportunity for my teenager to make friends too. often hard to get the balance right betweeen parents and their teenage children! enjoy lovely beaches but within reach of culture too! Love food and enjoy mediteranian cuisine. very fond of dalyan in turkey as it satisfies lots of these needs. love western crete and going this summer. love to get cheap flights and good hotels last minute. enjoy independance of non package holidays. last year stayed in salou in really good hotel but travelled in to barcelona every day. it was cheaper than flying and staying in barcelona! |

Most of my travel has been in Europe( I have a complete love of Spain and always have-try so hard to steer off this well known course! ) and my long held desire to travel to Vietnam is nagging away at me...it has to happen this year...Please feel free to prompt me if this still reads the same in the months ahead...esp if it reads that I actually got to Grace Bay first which is hight on the list too...In my next life.... |

Live in the Derbyshire Peak District, but spend lots of time at our other home in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Southern Spain - a real get away from it all escape. Enjoy walking and mountaineering, and exploring new places - still finding lots of these in Spain, as well as the occassional trip elsewhere. |
