Hi I am Satish Bardewa from Sikkim. I have an passion form adventure and exploration. I love trekking, mountaineering and mountain biking besides casual rock climbing. Oh! yes wild life journeys are some of my best family activity which I enjoy. With my interest in mountains, I explored many hidden valleys and high altitude passes in Sikkim and in Northern India. Some of the mountains I have climbed in North India are Menthosa, Ladakhi Peak, Thelu peak. I did took up my mountain bike to Gurudongmar lake in North Sikkim to be the first biker to do so reaching this beautiful lake on earth. I trekked through Lhonak valley in North Sikkim and did climb Mt. Siniolchu from Green lake. My passion for discovery would be at a great risk in vanishing would have I not changed my profession from a teacher to a tour organiser. I help people plan their trips be it in mountaineering or trekking or leisure tours. It gives me a lot of satisfaction to get to design their travel itinerary and to meet them in person. The best thing that comes after wards when they return back and tell me that they enjoyed traveling with me and with Yak and Yeti Travels which is a travel company since 1991. I would love to hear the feedback from the travelers who have given me the opportunity to organize their holidays. I would also be pleased to hear from the fellow travelers who wish to plan their holiday in Sikkim and seek a reliable friend to help them organize their holiday.
