After having a bad road traffic accident at the end of last year it turned my life upside down because of the injuries I suffered. It made me realise how fragile life is and how short, so I have decided when I am able to I want to do as much as possible before I get too old,lol. My kids are grown up now so I am freer to do something for myself. I would love to go on an extreme adventure somewhere in the World. Probably cos I have spent most of my time while recovering watching Extreme Dreams, Ray Mears (who is my hero) so it has ignited my imagination! In the meantime I am trying to get fit again doing lots of walking and have set myself a challenge to do a walk to raise money for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust who were there for me when I needed them. I plan to walk part of the Coastal Path down the South West of Cornwall. Places I would love to visit are New Zealand (particularly the Zion Wildlife Park to meet the lions and tigers) Thailand, China (cos I would like to visit the Tiger Sanctuary run by Buddists there), Costa Rica, Galapagos, the Inca Trail, Canada and more... |
