I'm addicted to travel, but also an environmentalist, so constantly struggle with the conflict between the two. Having said that, Mark Twain was absolutely right when he said "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness", so everyone needs to do some travelling and I don't mean to ex pat resorts in the South of Spain. Favourite place must be New Zealand, although do love Norfolk, England, especially the north Norfolk coast. |

The world is an amazing place and I am intrigued by different countries - cultures and customs. I am also a keen photographer so the two fit perfectly together. Top travel experiences include Ecuador, South Africa and the good ol' USA. Favourite cities include Vancouver, Salzburg, Cape Town, Las Vegas, Rome, New York and the city where I work - Norwich! On my wish list....everywhere else! I would love to get back to South Africa. |

I love the frisson of discovery and adventure - and have done ever since I was a child - I had a secret cave to survive the boredom of childhood. I managed a little bit of travel between work, marriage and children - never package hollidays, always adventures - and now with more freedom and time.... I love walking and my very best walk was in Mali, and stumbling over hidden treasures in hidden parts of Greece, which I adore. I have a son in secret France - the Ardeche - gloriously untouched, and we are planning some small walking holidays there - and for those brave enough - canyoning! |
