Love city breaks - been lots of European cities Barcelona and Milan while on F1 trips, also Prague, Krakow, Dublin ....and a few more. Have won holidays I would probably not ever have been able to afford, South Africa, Tobago and the Italian Lakes. Love to experience new places and cultures. |

I think my love for travel comes from a passion for social politics and an experience of difference, and a woefully short attention span that renders me constantly (if not physically!) nomadic! As such, my appreciation for travel satisfies an opportunity to learn something new, whether that's simply a new perspective, or a completely different way of life. Since coming to work for responsibletravel.com I've been able to turn my vicarious nomadism to a whole new range of prospective destinations! Having confined my travels to predominantly Euro-American cultures so far, I'd like to get out of my comfort zone and try something more challenging in the near future. Any suggestions? Answers on an e-card... |

I have written three books on India - India: The Peacock's Call, India: The Tiger's Roar and India: The Elephant's Blessing which have all been published within the last six years. The Peacock's Call has just been republished with an additional Part II. My non commercial website promoting India is www.thepeacockscall.co.uk and my photo galleries on India, Scotland and South Africa are on [web link] India is the Land of my birth and I go back annually for a month to enjoy and experience this wonderful land with all her beauty and her challenges. Graham my husband and I travel independently and because I speak Hindi (from my childhood years) we are lucky enough to have some rather special experiences. I have tried to promote the whole of India but I was awed by Hampi in Karnataka and feel too few people know about it, and I love being in out of the way places in Rajasthan. My favourite Indian city is Delhi but followed by Hyderabad. I made a pilgrimage to The Ganga earlier this year and visited homes and places I had not seen for exactly 50 years! It was a happy fulfilling experience. I plan to return to India in January and think Indians need our support at a very challenging time. I am committed to try to help save the tiger which I consider the most magnificent of animals and I have been fortunate enough to see quite a few. |

I'm a travel journalist turned travel agent, running my own web-based agency Wren Elite Travel which focuses on adventure, activity, luxury holidays, tours, safaris and specialist travel. I love all kinds of travel, but have spent a lot of time reviewing luxury hotels in the course of my work so am partial to comfort! I do also love adventure and activity as well, and am prepared to 'rough it' (just a little bit) for the sake of getting to see and experience exciting parts of the world and local communities. A highlight of one trip was having a silver service luncheon with the British Ambassador and his wife in his home in La Paz, Bolivia, and then I adored the opportunity to get up close and personal with a Tasmanian Devil in Australia's island state earlier this year! I haven't been yet to Alaska or Antarctica - and these are both my dream destinations and on my list. |

Have enjoyed exotic beach holidays when childfree. Since having two children have been back to India but also really enjoy camping and Rv-ing. Have been to Ireland and Canada in an RV, fantastic scenery and complete freedom, as well as all the things you need for the kids travelling with you. |
