Hi There, I Live in Iran and I have many interests including traveling, which I am afraid I do not get to do much these days. FYI I would like to go back to US and Spain for another visit, as well as perhaps South East Asia, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada. Please note that if you are a European (with the exception of UK) or for example from Australia, NZ or China you will qualify for Iran 2-week airport visa issued on the spot for 50 euros. Many Iranian travel agencies however charge a fee of 30 euros -- IN ADDITION TO to the normal embassy visa fee of as much as $100 for many nationalities -- to get you a 30-day regular tourist visa if you are from countries like UK, Canada, US or some others. It is worth it only if you are planning a trip longer than 2 weeks. So airport visa is by far the best option out there if you country is on the Iran FM 'approved list'.
