I've been living in Dubai for 15 years now and am looking for something a bit more exciting.............any suggestions????

I love travelling and discovering new places.......

An ambition is to be able to say Hello and Thank-you in every language of the countries I've visited........

Would like to put a question out there......where's the best place you've been? And why?

Iam addicted to travel, and prefer to "do my own thing". I hate to be in a group or on an organised tour. I have travelled my own country (South Africa) extensively, Love Europe, and the Med. I have also travelled by local train through Siberia which was an experience of a lifetime. Apart from London I never go to the same place twice.
I am also a hiker and walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela was a life changing journey. I am not religious at all and that is what made the Camino such an experience!

I'm an extremely passionate .. traveler.

I'll be spending the next year in Kenya working for a British tour operator [web link] and doing some voluntary work in a local district development consortium as an ICT and smart communities coordinator. In the meantime i have an opportunity to exercise my passion of adventuring from the beach to the mountains, from glamour concert nights to promoting local crafts for fair trade, and a lot more...

Join me if you're in the same country at the same time!

As a student at the moment i am still following the backpackers method of travelling around or visiting family in Jamaica. I am looking forawrd to graduating, then earning, then experiencing more luxurious travel. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE backpacking so dont get me wrong. But my luxury holidays are few and far between and using responsibletravel.com to book a holiday that will suit my eco-friendly nature and desire for a unique adventure is a high priority for me and my young son.

Most of the travelling I have done was organised by myself with my familiy, or with friends. I love the unforseen opportunities coming up during travelling on its own as well as meeting local people who can help you a lot to discover things off the beaten track. I love the Asian people and I visited Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Burma and India. Cuba and Namibia were also one of my favourites. I had been to the US several times, especially in the West (the most amazing landscapes). My obseession is to go to Japan, but I haven't figured out how I can travel on my own there. Can anyone help with this?
If I should recommend a dream place: a lodge (Wolwedans) in the middle of the red Namib desert ...
