I am a travel writer specialising in responsible travel, and have the great opportunity to come across some wonderful spots. When I remember, I shall send some in the direction of Responsibletravel.com's new website. Meanwhile, do please have a look at my recent book Ecoescape Ireland, part of the Ecoescape series, (www.ecoescape.org) as well as my regular column The Ethical Traveller in The Irish Times (www.irishtimes.com) |

I have a Travel Agency in the US. I have a real passion for travel and have been on many trips. I live in Hawaii. I especially lovee the beauty of nature and wildlife. I especially love cruising. I love music and dancing. I like smiling and making friends with people around the world. My greatest desire is to visit the Arctic and Antarctica and would love a female travel companion to share costs. |

After being told by several people that we would NOT be able to travel after we have kids, I was determined to prove them wrong! Travel has always been a passion for me and though we are not independently wealthy, nor have unlimited time to explore new places we have made a promise to ourselves and children to expose them to different cultures, countries and customs as often as our budget allows. Living in New York also lends us unique opportunity to visit museums, theater and a variety of ethnic neighborhoods where we can experience traditional food from around the world. Taking advantage of this diverse city and being able to leave the country once in awhile is having the best of both worlds. |

I have been an expat. in the Middle East for almost 20 years so I do enjoy travelling every chance I get. As of recent, I enjoy travel that gives something back to the communities that I travel in -- usually in areas that are not commonly traveled by tourists. Three places that I am looking forward to visiting are Borneo, Nepal and Bhutan. |

“If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay at home.” - James Michener I love exotic places and experiencing new things. Rather ashamedly the greatest place i've ever been memorywise is Disneyworld in Florida when i was a kid...it's tacky but magical! I would love to visit Thailand and live in a hut for a few months writing a book and eating fresh fruit... |

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness…Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all of one’s lifetime” – Mark Twain I live in New York City but leave as often as I can. I am a dedicated traveller and a passionate animal lover - I have 3 dogs and a cat so it is a rough combination but they are always well cared for when I am on the road. I have travelled extensively throughout North and South America, Asia, The Middle East, and East Africa. I have loved and appreciated all of my journeys but some standouts are Croatia, Easter Island, The Galapagos, Borneo, Nepal, India, Cambodia, Egypt and Zanzibar. The hands down best experience I have ever had was gorilla trekking in the Congo, followed by visiting orangutans in Borneo as a close second. My next planned trips are to Bhutan this spring, and would like to get to Australia and New Zealand soon after that. |

I love East Africa. I already visited Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and climbed their summit. Batian on mount Kenya in 2004, Kili in 2006 and Margherita peak on Rwenzori in August 2008. I have realised my first dream: walking on all african ices before they are completely melt. I inted to return to Tanzania and climb Mawenzi. |
