| Kuranda Station Cairns Posted 18 Oct 2009 by Justin Francis  Kuranda Station is best reached using the Skyrail - a canopy top cable car ride. The station is prety touristy, but there were three things we really enjoyed - 1. The animal park when you can cuddle a Koala! 2. The Bird Sanctuary - I've never seen such colourful birds 3. The journey (flight?) is small cable cars skims the tops of the rainforest.Below you can see the majestic trees, and parrots and parakeets.
