| Around Kili Posted 07 Apr 2009 by Lyn  So much interest about climbing Kili at the moment...........I didnt climb it but I was in a state of true wonder when the tip of Kili was on show above the cloud line............ and I was far away in Amboseli!!My guide was pointing out that the tip of the mountain was squeezing up through the clouds... but it took a while for me to actually see it.... when I did - it was amazing.........and ...more... |
| Safari and toilets Posted 04 Dec 2008 by Lyn  Think about the loo's! When I was safari in the Maasai Mara, the day started very early. Not such a bad predicament for you guys, but for us women... it is worth considering! We had been driving for 4 hours (the men often stopping to "check the tyres" which we later realised was a code for having a wee) when the women needed to "check the tyres" !!!
