| Gorgeous Highland B&B Posted 06 Nov 2008 by Lucy  The most beautiful B&B I've been to, this ancient manse was the childhood home of author Alistair McLean, who wrote Where Eagles Dare, the Guns of Navarone, etc.Red squirrels play in the garden, deer come up to the back gate, kites circling overhead... They have a hide you can sit in and wait for the badgers, deer and pine marten to show up. | Wigwams in Scotland & N England - Camping only better! Posted 15 Aug 2008 by Holly Foat  I stumbled on these wigwams whilst looking for cheap accommodation in Scotland. They cost the same as pitching a tent but you get a nice solid roof, door and windows!
