Isle of Wight festival - not such a great one

If you prefer festivals with a bit of character then I'd suggest avoiding the Isle of Wight festival.

We had a terrible time there - it was overly sponsored by Nokia and only Carling, Strongbow or Smirnoff Ice to drink thanks to some advertising deal. No food or drink of your own allowed in, not even water, so you had to buy it all in there and it was really expensive. Plus we saw quite a few...more...
Best place to spot a Red Squirrel

Robin Hill park on the Isle of Wight is set in beautiful woodland countryside on the Arreton Downs and is one of the best places on the island to spot the not so shy endangered Red Squirrel.
If you follow the marked woodland trails there are sign posts that highlight Red Squirrel hot spots or you can take a Red Squirrel safari.
