Rockin' Summer Festival in... Bulgaria!

Anyone with his or her ear to the grapevine will know that one of the summer season's hottest, and more out of the way summer festivals is the Spirit of Bourgas, on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast.

Many people recommend going to visit this church in Bruges, architecture and style is amazing yet extremely eclectic (took about 200 years to build!).

Definitely looks like its worth visiting if you are in the areamore...
Eat Out from Pamporova

I recently stayed in a village called Stoykite about 10mins drive from busy bustling & expensive Pamporova.

If you have a car (or care to use the local taxis) it is very easy to eat out exactly were the locals do - in the log fire heated local (if not smokey) pubs.

Ski hire in Pamporovo

If you are going skiing in Pamporovo and have access to a car, then hire your kit from the ski shop chalet based at the bramnd new 6-man chair lift.

Almera is a wonderfully cheerful & helpful woman who works cvery hard to ensure you ahve the right gear for your day. She has set up her own ski hire shoop and is independant (I think)

Skiing these days can cost a small fortune. Bamsko in Bulgaria boasts some of the best and most extensive slopes in Europe. The Pirin Mountain range has 65km of runs and 4,500 acres of slopes over four mountains catering for novices to experts.
