We organise our cycling and mountain biking holidays by difficulty & distance covered each day to help you find the right cycling or mountain biking holiday for your level of fitness.

Introductory cycling
For the infrequent cyclist mainly on the flat with gentle slopes. Distances of between 15-25 miles/25-40 kms per day.
Moderate cycling
For the leisure cyclist who exercises regularly. Will include some steeper cheeky climbs. Distances of between 20-30 miles/ 35-50 kms per day.
Adventurous cycling
For those who cycle regularly. Includes some steep climbs and distances of between 25-50 miles/40-80 kms per day.
Challenging cycling
For regular cyclists who are looking for longer distances of between 40 and 70 miles/ 65-120kms per day.
Self guided cycling
Self guided cycling holidays are for you if you don't want to join a group and prefer to cycle along the open roads at your own pace.
Charity cycle rides
Charity cycle rides are ideal for people who don’t only want to travel responsibly, but also want to give that little bit extra and help contribute towards a favourite charity. All of our charity cycle rides are either run by charities, or contribute a significant proportion of the cost of the holiday to a good cause.
Introductory mountain biking
These tours are for those new to mountain biking or those who do not have a high level of fitness. Easy combination of on-road and off-road routes. Distances of between 15-30 miles / 25-50 km per day.
Moderate mountain biking
Gentle off-road routes with no difficult technical sections. Distances of between 15-30 miles / 25-50km per day.
Adventurous mountain biking
Aimed at those who are regular cyclists and have a degree of off-road mountain biking experience. Some moderate and difficult technical sections. Distances of between 25-50 miles / 40-80 km per day.
Challenging mountain biking
For those who are regular mountain bikers and have a good level of fitness. Routes with frequent moderate to difficult technical sections. Distances of between 25-50 miles / 40-80 km per day.
Hard core mountain biking
For those who are regular and keen mountain bikers and have a good level of off-road biking experience. Rides will include high-level technical sections. Distances vary from day to day, depending on topography, between 30-60 miles / 50-100 km per day.
