General terms and conditions for all Free Gifts
You can claim your free gift for:
Tours and Tailor Made Holidays:
Within 1 year of travel date
i.e. B&B, Self catering, hotel only: Within 3 months of travel date
Claims outside of these ranges will be invalid and therefore no free gift can be issued
You are eligible for a free gift if you have made an enquiry via the Responsible Travel website and subsequently made a booking.
Requests for Free Gifts against booking.com reservations must be accompanied by the booking.com confirmation. Please email reservation confirmation to firstname.lastname@example.org
One Free Gift is available per booking
We aim to process your Free Gift within 4 weeks of receiving your request.
Lonely Planet Travel Guide:
Offer applies only to purchases made from http://www.lonelyplanet.com/
and in-stock products only. Backordering is not available
Your voucher code will be valid for 3 months from the date we send it to you. It will be sent to the email address you provided for your booking.
Vouchers are valid for one item purchase only and you will not be able to carry over any unused credit.
Offer includes free delivery
Offer excludes pre-order titles. Pre-order titles (in both print and ebook format) are not eligible for any discounts. You may choose to wait until it is instock - check the expiry date on your voucher first.
The voucher is valid for £20 or the equivalent of €30, AU$40 and US$30 according to the destination address

We reserve the right to offer alternative rewards to an equivalent value.
The Responsible Travel codes are valid for guide books only and not Lonely Planet pictorial & gift titles
You can choose between receiving a GBP cheque, an electronic payment via PayPal or donating the money to our current chosen charity.
Cheque: will be sent to the address you provide. Please cash the cheque within 6 months of the date of issue or they will be voided.
Paypal: Payment will be made via Paypal to the email address that you have provided during the booking process. Please ensure that you check this email is current and correct for the payment to reach you as we are unable to re-send payments sent to incorrect email addresses. You will need to claim your Paypal payment within 30 days of the date of confirmation from Paypal.
You do not need to have an existing Paypal account, but in order to collect your money you will be prompted to open a Paypal account to do so. Please ensure you set up and use your Paypal account correctly as we cannot be held responsible for any errors.
Charity donation: If you select this option you can be happy in the knowledge that at the end of each quarter we will pass on your £10 as part of a donation we will make to a charity of our choice. We are afraid that there is currently no option to giftaid this donation.
Cash Free Gifts cannot be re-issued or revalued.
Holiday Prize Draw:
Please note that each holiday prize is unique and will have its own specific terms and conditions, please read these carefully.
We may contact you after you've taken the holiday prize for publicity and to ask for a review for the Responsible Travel website.
The winner will be notified by email and we will also announce the winner on the Responsible Travel Facebook page.
The prize is subject to availability and the operator's booking conditions
Travel arrangements and costs are to be paid by the winner
If you are unable to take up the holiday prize, for whatever reason, we cannot offer an alternative.

If you fail to let us know within this timeframe we will offer the prize to another participant.
