Premier accommodation model

This service differs from our free listing service in that we assign you a dedicated Account Manager at responsibletravel.com whose job it is to help generate booking enquiries for you via the site. Because you pay us a commission on any sales we generate it is in our interest to generate as many bookings for you as possible! There is also an annual membership fee – we use this to invest in marketing to generate booking enquiries for you. If you want to get the most from our site – and are prepared to track enquiries through to bookings – then this is the service for you.

How do we work?

Build your accommodation page on the site and travellers make email enquiries which are passed directly to you. You'll have access to our extranet system (your own log in name & password) where you review enquiries & declare your bookings to us (our Premier Service)

Who do we promote?

We promote accommodations that meet our requirements for Responsible Tourism. Please see our responsible travel criteria guidelines.

How much does it cost?

Accommodations pay an annual fee (Premier Service £125 - £250 per year) based on the cost of a standard double room per night OR self catering unit per night + 10% commission per confirmed booking. Please note that we do not offer a discount on the membership fee under any circumstances.

What next?

1) Please contact alison@responsibletravel.com if you are interested in upgrading to our Premier Service. She will send you additional details and information about the Premier Service.

2) If you have not already built your page on our Console, you will be asked to do this at this time. Note: you are not allowed on the Premier Service to have your accommodation name on your page as this competes directly with your own website and we wish to bring you new enquiries. If you already have your accommodation name on your page, you will be asked to remove it as part of the upgrade.

3) Once you have built your page and it is approved and live, you will be allocated an Account Manager (Premier Service), and you start to receive enquiries.

4) Your Account Handler will work with you to maximise promotions and marketing and drive enquiries to you. Welcome to responsibletravel.com

Unfortunately due to the large number of e-mails from non responsible accommodations we can no longer guarantee a response for those who do not qualify. Please note that we only promote bona fide businesses and are unlikely to consider companies with Google ads on their website.

All membership fees and commissions are subject to VAT where applicable.
