Our Wolf trackers contribute directly to the Scandinavian Wolf projectby collecting information and droppings for DNA-sampling.
We have now worked for more than 10 years to take people from all over the World to see some of Swedens most remarkable wild animals such as Moose, Wolves, Beavers, Bears, Arctic Fox and spectacular birds like Owls and Capercaillies. Our aim is to offer genuine nature experiences that support wildlife conservation and creates economic opportunities for the local society. We are so proud to say that our tours are often used as a good example by others to prove that wild animals can be a substantial income for rural areas, and that these animals are worth more alive than dead.
We are an awarded ecotourism company, we won the Grand Travel Award for best ecotourism in Sweden 2009, and we are approved with the Swedish quality label for ecotourism, Natures Best since 2004.
We have applied a strict policy to reduce, reuse and recycle whenever possible.
We work with local guides only. That is why we can take you to the very best places to see wildlife up close in areas of Sweden where most other visitors never go. To make your holiday complete, we cooperate with this mountain station in this remote place with friendly and engaged staff. This create local job opportunities in rural areas and also provides you with a much more authentic experience. This accommodation has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The food is locally produced and the dishes are mainly from the area, often with sustainable wild hunted meat and fish along with wild chantarelles and sweetened lingonberries. We often bring hot drinks out into the wild.
Our guides like to explain the ecosystem and the interaction between humans and wildlife. There are many conflicts that needs to be solved, and it is important to understand the details to get a bigger picture. We hope that each one of our guests returns home with more knowledge and greater respect for our wild animals.
Group size: We operate small group tours, simply because you get a better experience nature in a smaller group.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
This tour was memorable for all of the right reasons. If the aim of the company is to ensure guests 'collect memories not things' then they certainly delivered. The ethereal scenery sets the tone for the tour, each day going with the flow of nature and it's wildlife. The anticipation of finding tracks or wildlife sightings is all part of the fun. It is food for the soul. A night hike and Marcus' howling is something quite special. The guest house Pensionat Udden is a home away from home with delicious food and strong coffee!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Do not hesitate to ask the company whatever questions you have before visiting. Their responses are quick and extremely helpful.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. The guides are genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about their environment and its inhabitants, educating people on co existing with nature, wildlife and in particular wolves. A great advertisement for Sweden and exploring the country.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It has made my current top 5 holidays and I have already re booked another visit with the tour company.
