Responsible tourism: Learn Spanish for families in Granada, Spain
TRANSPORT: Once on site, our visitors do not need to use a car during their stay. We promote the use of local transportation, as a mean of saving energy and at the same time, as an opportunity to interact with local population in authentic situations.
FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS: This experience is entirely supported by locals: from our accommodation in local apartments, to our teachers and instructors. All the people involved in our programs are from the community. Our activity contributes to sustainably economical growth in our area: local shops and restaurants, as well as local artisans and artists.
LOCAL CRAFTS AND CULTURE: We believe that Spanish culture is much more than what is usually known by regular tourists. We value our popular art manifestations and encourage our visitors to really appreciate them. On one hand, some of our language learning activities take place in our local museums, in order to give our visitors an insight of local art and history. On the other hand, all our workshops are held by young local artisans and artists, as a way of supporting them and praising their work.
TRAVELLING WITH RESPECT We make possible real communication between visitors and locals, which means that visitors experience a real encounter with the culture and the daily life of the country whose language they are learning, and locals take pride of their own culture and traditions. We partner with local cultural groups and associations in the organisation of cultural events for the community.
