On these tours we utilise local staff, campsites and excursions based in the countries we visit. Much of this revenue goes into the surrounding communities and creates employment in often very rural, remote and impoverished areas. Other than tourism there is little other prospects of employment in these areas. In Namibia we visit local Himba and Bushman communities with the proceeds directly benefiting the communities. Local guides are used for Bushmen excursions in Twyfelfontein and Tsumeb areas. In the Caprivi area we visit a traditional Caprivi Village (Lizuali Village) where utilise a local guide and purchase local weaving products. This area was previously affected by war so this is much needed support for their rehabilitation. We try to minimize our impact on the environment by utilising sustainable practises and always being aware of the impact we are having on the environment.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
