This trip is run in conjunction with local businesses, giving you the chance to experience and contribute to the local environment. We are always mindful of local guidelines and traditions whilst planning excursions and outings. Our trained staff are knowledgeable of the culture and history of the region and are only too happy to share this information and answer your questions.
Our short breaks have many options for accommodation and activities. Each external supplier that we use for these is a locally run business and contributes directly to the local economy. Our walks and sightseeing trips are planned in order to coincide with local markets and points of historical interest.
We encourage the use of our minibus vehicles during your stay so that our contribution to road traffic and pollution is reduced. We also strongly recommend the much greener train option to travel here. There is a direct service from London to Avignon on a Saturday and a one-stop service on all other days.
Our short breaks almost always include some time in the Ardèche gorge National Park. We only use national park approved camping grounds and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly or carried out of the gorge. Short breaks are also a unique opportunity to study the massive limestone canyon form close up and to discuss it’s formation, flora and fauna.

You can trust responsibletravel.com reviews because, unlike many other schemes, reviews can ONLY be written by people who we have verified have been on the holidays. In addition, we don't run these holidays ourselves - our only interest is giving you the best independent advice.
