During the City Tour and La Boca Tour, environmental information is given. Pollution, recycling and the river contamination are themes which are discussed during the tours, aiming to generate awareness about this matters. When possible, transfers are done in public transportation and walking.
Community
We work in partnership with charities and local host communities to design our tours and journeys around the city. We select institutions and organisations which have a transforming and innovative mission to give solutions to social and economic problems that affect their communities. La Boca beyond Caminito
The tour aims to distribute the benefits of tourism more equally within the neighbourhood, since most of the touristic activity stays in Caminito street. It supports the work of interesting cooperatives which employ young adults and whose benefits are used for training, education and mentoring of children & adolescents of La Boca.
Tango tour
Thanks to this tour, you support clubs & cultural district centres whose vulnerable survival depends on tiny donations that members pay every month. Moreover many of them allow entry without the contribution for anyone unable to pay. Their cultural and social mission is essential in the district and his habitant’s lives. The visits to these clubs bring a new way to look at Tango and value the identity and the mission of these places, often invisible for many people. Furthermore, thanks to the consumption in the bars, you contribute to their economical support.
Volunteering day
We will start the day classifying food that then will help feed many children in soup kitchens around Buenos Aires. The charity relies on volunteers for classifying the fresh food donations that otherwise would be wasted. Sharing an afternoon with the children of a soup kitchen, where food is sent, is an experience that will be great for our hearts and contribute to the happiness of the children.
Areco
This tour supports local endeavours such as bars, restaurants, silversmiths, leather craftsmen and a social project of employment and training. We will contribute to develop touristic activities in the village and also in local ranches. In this context, we will redistribute the benefits of tourism among the locals.
