Small group adventure holiday
Typically you will be sharing your experiences with between 4-20 like minded travellers (depending on the trip, operator and how many others are booked on the trip) and you'll have a group leader with you. Whether you are travelling alone or with friends its good value, and a great way to meet new people! While itineraries are pre-planned there is some flexibility and you'll have plenty of privacy. This trip will appeal to travellers of all ages who enjoy meeting new people as well as seeing new places.

How this holiday makes a difference

Enjoy a truly amazing variety of landscapes – monkey-puzzle forests, active volcanoes and glacial lakes. Learn about the cowboy culture from huasos & gauchos. Unique scenery, charming people, great food and a fun, informal atmosphere. The horses we use are the best bred and cared for in the area. The founders all met in Chile and have an unrivalled passion for the country. We work in very close partnership with a large number of micro-businesses (hotels, drivers, restaurants, boats, stables, etc) to deliver an experience that is both unique and sustainable.

Transport: In all details unproblematic. Very well planned and arranged. In absolutely no moments worries or troubles. Ernan: The right man - punctual, polite and extremely well-informed.

The trip: Reception and accommodation at the wonderful types : Jane, her boys, Rodolfo and Caroline: Competent and best possible we could obtain. Guides: Helpful and professional in all connections, and besides- a lively and merry company.

Riding and nature varied and impressive and all the time fascinating. The other participants: All qualified riders, staying power, regardless of e.g. weather variations and outer circumstances. Pleasant, friendly atmosphere. In general the most inspiring, exiting and well organized experience we have ever tried.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?


6 hours snowstorm on horseback - in 2ooo m height - mostly without shelter.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?


Remember at least warm, waterproof clothes and boots.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?


With our background: Yes indeed.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?


Best possible. We were living life fully every minute - blood felt rolling. From now we only look forward to a similar holiday.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?


Fell in love with my Chilean horse, unfortunately too big for the hand luggage.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?


Never fly with Aerolinias Argentinos, had a full adventure getting to destination, planes leaving at different times, cancelled flights, no warning etc.but good travellers' tales!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?


Yes, our ride made little impact on the environment apart from hacking down some bamboo to make a path, but compensated by providing manure. Used local people for carriage, meals etc, all of whom were charming.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?


Definitely among the greats.
