When you book this trip, in addition to about half typically of your programme fee that is spent in country, we will also use US$75 of your fee to purchase 1 tag applicator, 20 tags to identify individual turtles or equivalent through our Big Giving programme.
Often the great work of our projects can be limited by a lack of resources which can be simple things such as text books or mattresses. Big Giving is our way of helping these projects and providing them with the physical items that they really need – and that's on top of the hard work of our volunteers! We believe that it's important for all of our projects to be sustainable in their own right and for that reason we do not donate items that would encourage dependence on us. What Big Giving will provide are items we know are genuinely required by projects to help improve lives or meet goals.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
