How this holiday makes a difference

Environment

On our trips we bike on paved roads only, walk and hike on existing paths and tell our guests not to feed, fish, hunt and disturb animals. We also support orphan bear shelter in Kutarevo.

In our office we minimize printing actions and recycle paper and develop responsible waste management by stimulating waste recycle. Most of all, we ensure that negative environmental impacts are drawn to a minimum.
A visit to National Park Paklenica is included in the program - the fees that we pay to the National Park contribute to the conservation of that area.

Community

Novigrad is a small fishermen's village away from tourist routes, hidden deep in the bay. No big hotels or crowds, no busy traffic or noise.
Even sailing yachts avoid deep dead-end bays but we made it attractive for outdoor-minded visitors by introducing kayaking, canoeing, biking and rafting trips in the neighborhood, thus allowing some extra income to farmers and fishermen whose accommodation, food or transport services we use.

By booking this trip you bring much needed income to the people who are still recovering from the war-torn years as this was the area severely affected by war. This trip ensures that the local people benefit as much as possible in the form of jobs (we employ local guides and drivers) and provision of accommodation (we use family owned hotel or home stay with local family) most of all that negative environmental impacts are kept to the minimum.

We use local transfer services and buy food from small farms. By buying local products you are supporting this countries’ economy and helping Croatia to stand on her feet again!

We consider as our responsibility to lead efforts to maintain and preserve the integrity of this fledgling sector by petitioning the introduction of tighter controls over the use of the country’s natural resources. As a company, we support the local community by building camps in partnership with local families, building bridges and accesses to the rivers. In order to preserve traventine barriers on Zrmanja River we have built a wooden detour bridges.

Every day was memorable and exciting... As soon as we met Filip our holiday started to be a lot of fun... Beautiful country and genuinely friendly people everywhere. Spotlessly clean accommodation. One of the best holidays ever. Felt like we have left very close friends behind. Can't wait to go back. (read full review)

Highly recommended, felt like we saw places we would not have found for ourselves without a lot of trial and error.(read full review)

Zipping down the rapids on a river was fab too and my son loved going headfirst over a 10m waterfall! Paddling peacefully up rivers and swimming in their cool, clear depths was great too. (read full review)

All of it was memorable! I guess the day we went on the Zrmanja and Krupa Rivers, - it was simply beautiful. Kayaking down rapids and swimming under waterfalls that we would have only got to because we were taken on the day. (read full review)
