On this trip you are joined by a leader throughout and the occasional local guide along the way who are always eager to share information about their country and culture. They will help you break down barriers in your interactions with local people and will assist you in learning as much as possible about the many cultural differences throughout Nepal.
During your journey through this amazing country, there are numerous opportunities for local interaction. You’ll be surprised how much you can learn from a friendly local who strikes up a conversation on a bus or as you explore Kathmandu.
The Kathmandu Environmental Education project (KEEP), is a very local and interesting Nepalese NGO that groups can organise to visit with their Nepalese tour leader. It offers training and courses on nature conservation to Nepalese people, basic English to trekking guides, first aid and eco trekking workshops. It has a part to play in the conservation of Nepal’s ecology and culture, and we are happy to give support to this project.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
