From our humble beginning, amongst the Mt. Kenya guides, we endeavour to enhance and promote the welfare of the porters and guides operating on Mt. Kenya and by extension the local Kikuyu community inhabiting the area. This trip ensures clients' utmost satisfaction through utilization of services from guides and porters registered and certified by Mt. Kenya National Park who have set standards of professionalism. The porters and guides are sourced from Mt. Kenya porters and guides and Burguret Youth for Conservation, all with impeccable service and value wages.
We do advice our visitors to have an extra day before the trek in order to have an opportunity to interact, experience the other side of Kikuyu customs and uplift their welfare. The visit will benefits a community training centre, which train local farmers on organic farming. The farm has promoted the livelihood of the local inhabitants through production of increased yields with the help of the new modern farming technologies employed.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
