Japan is a land of paradoxes; from ancient to modern from serenity to seas of neon lights. Your group leader is there to help you to break down barriers and interact with the local people. During this trip your leader will explain as much as possible about Japanese culture and try to explain the rich history of Japanese etiquette.
All travellers are given a given a responsible travel bag at the beginning of the trip as we have plenty of opportunities to shop throughout Japan and say no to plastic. We also encourage our groups to use recyclable chopsticks to devour their sushi.
We take a glimpse into the traditional art of sumo and make a visit to a sumo stable in Tokyo to watch the wrestlers train.
There are plenty of opportunities to get active by hiking, biking or kayaking during this trip and we always ensure that travellers stick to marked trails, take all their rubbish with them and follow a set of hiking guidelines for the protection of the environment.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
