Environment
In order to avoid generating waste, we provide you with filtered water throughout the trek in order that you do not need to consume bottled water. These plastic bottles can be a major waste issue in the Himalayas. We also provide waste bags to pack all rubbish so that we leave no trace of our visit – only smiles and memories with the local tribes.
In Nepal our carbon balancing fund is invested in biogas, a renewable energy which helps reduce de-forestation, improve health & sanitation and provide some income generation.

We promote these off the beaten track routes in order to bring much needed economic benefit to the less visited areas.
Only local staff are employed on the trip, with preferential wages. A further commitment to encouraging the local economy.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
