When designing a tailor made family holiday we always try to bring into the spotlight the genuine Romanian character. Be it a festival, a visit to a traditional rural community or a home cooked meal; we try to include in the itinerary items to reveal the genuine Romanian culture.
To make sure the money stays within the visited community we’re only using local suppliers, from the guide services to transportations and accommodations. We encourage our guests to purchase locally produced goods and include in the itinerary meetings with genuine characters such as craftsmen, artists, visit to rural communities and accommodations in country-inns or other small family run business.
Apart from these, we’re making financial contributions for every persons who books one of our tours or programmes in the amount of £1 per person to support Saint Daniel’s Foundation programme entitled “A grand father for a nephew – A nephew for a grandfather”, helping elderly and orphans, people most in need.
We encourage our guests do a little reading before coming to find out more about their host communities and the environment so that they would connect better with the locals. We provide suggestion on how best to support the local economies and communities, as well as the surrounding environment. Guests will receive a pre-trip information pack via e-mail, to minimise the use of paper, which will inform them about issues relating to the place they will travel, some language tips and general advice. Furthermore, our tour guides are well-educated multilingual people who can offer guests their skills as an interpreter and offer up-to-date details on current national and regional issue

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
