Our organisation is passionate about all the countries which we operate in, therefore it is a natural progression that we help to protect each region and strive to maximise the benefits that tourism can bring. We support a variety of different projects in several countries using local guides and where possible, sourcing locally owned hotels and guesthouses in an effort to support the local economy.
An insight into the lives of local people:
From meeting Mongolia’s nomadic families to buying goods from local people as your Trans-Siberian train makes one of its frequent stops at a remote Siberian town this trip really does give you the chance to interact with the local people you meet as you travel from Beijing to Moscow.
Along the route you'll have the opportunity to support local industries by shopping for food at local markets or by buying direct from local people who often sell their home produce and handicrafts from street stalls.
In each stop off point we employ local operators and guides in order to give a genuine insight into each of the areas visited and the fascinating lives of the people that live there. We can also organise homestay accommodation on the shores of Lake Baikal or on nearby Olkhon Island during the summer months.
Travel by train:
Travelling by train, a method of public transport used by Russians and Mongolians alike is a truly unique experience, offering the opportunity to interact with local travellers making their way towards the Russian capital. In Moscow sightseeing is arranged via the spectacular Moscow metro system, one of the most beautiful and efficient public transport systems in the world.
The directors of this company went to university together and met up again when they were travelling.
