Despite its beauty, the Highlands and Islands is one of the least affluent regions of Scotland. By bringing the benefits of tourism to this area and using local services and produce, we help to support local businesses, create employment and contribute to the overall sustainable development of this remote region. All of these multi-activity holidays operate on a strict 'leave no trace' policy.
Sailing, sea-kayaking, canoeing and hiking are, by their very nature, very sustainable modes of travel and by limiting our group size to just 8 clients, we can ensure that our impact on the landscape is kept to a minimum. We are a registered partner of the Leave No Trace Centre for Outdoor Ethics based in Colorado and the concept of Leave No Trace will be explained by our guide at the start of the trip and practised throughout. These trips all start and end at railway stations to encourage our clients to travel to the Highlands by rail.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
