This itinerary includes visits to a number of key cultural sights in Bali to raise awareness and help preserve a unique culture and religion. It visits Tenganan traditional village, which benefits from tourism through sales of Ikat weaving baskets, which helps maintain its traditional character and Hindu Temples. The itinerary includes a visit to Bali Barat National Park and your contribution to permit fees will help support flora and fauna including rare endemic Bali Starling.
You will stay at smaller hotels such as Waka Shorea and Waka Di Ume. Waka's Philosophy is to build in a way that blends into the environment, and helps to sustain the flora and fauna. Waka Shorea encourages guests to gain an understanding of Balinese Culture by employing villagers and using local produce. There is no plastic allowed and all structures are made from local wood.
