This amazing holiday offers you the chance to experience Egypt but not at the expense of the environment or the local people. Our company - owned and run by locals – has adopted every policy aimed to serve the local community and the environment. All and every part of our services is handled by a team of producers, suppliers and local people, who periodically receive the proper training, not just to deliver the promised service but to be able to introduce the Egyptian culture to our guests.
The tour is created to give guests enough time to learn about the places they see, the people and their culture. You can feel good knowing that while you enjoy an amazing travel experience you are also contributing to the places you visit. The tour starts with briefing sessions that include lots of significant travel tips concerning customs, traditions, language, religions, food, restaurants, currency, tipping, dressing codes, precautions to minimize the negative impact on local culture and avoid any cultural conflicts.
The owners and employees of the hotels used in that program are also local people who share with us the goal of maintaining and protecting the environment. We keep group size small in order to tread lightly on the places we visit. To minimize our carbon footprint, train travel is utilized whenever possible. We right-size our transportation based on group size, meaning a group of 10 does not go out in a bus for 52.
With respect to our environmental responsibilities, waste baskets have been installed in all our vehicles. The tour boats used are all locally owned and employ the majority of their staff from Upper Egypt. Boat staff is required to undergo training on preservation and conservation – a vital step to keeping the Nile beautiful and healthy. Our cruise boats have successfully passed all the tests, set by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Transport, aimed to prove its positive impact on the environment. For each booking made, a donation is made to UNICEF in order to support their programmes for children in Egypt. We work with our guests to make Egypt a better place to visit and the world a better place to live.
