Environment
The Little Yoga Cottage is run by us all year round. We recycle all waste and compost what we can. We have our own chickens on site too! Herbs are grown on site and we source vegetables locally where possible. Our sewage system is self contained to our site and is naturally broken down by the land. Hot Water is on demand reducing wasted energy. We make every effort to use only ecologically friendly products for cleaning.
Community
Your stay in Ireland will generate a lot of local business. We have teamed up with lots of local businesses from surf schools, climbing schools, hiking guides, biking guides, local minibus and taxi services for transfers, local restaurants.
We are involved in a few local charities including the St.Vincent De Paul, a localized branch of the charity, which uses donations to bring money where it is needed to the community and also a nursing home where we offer Golden Yoga to the elderly on a voluntary basis. We encourage all our guests to consider travelling here by public transport and offer extensive detail on how this is possible.
