Community:
This program will support the local economy and the minority culture preservation in the following ways:
- Our tour leaders will give detailed briefings to our clients, as well as our local staff on our policy of respecting the local culture; the different practices in each destination, so that clients will be able to adjust their behaviour accordingly.
- We hire local guides and drivers in each destination we travel to, especially those belonging to local minority groups.
- On this trip, we stay at local hotels at each stop.
- During this trip, we will have plenty of opportunities to visit local families and understand their local customs or tradition. We encourage our clients to bring some meaningful gifts to thank the hosts, like books and stationeries.
- In Beijing, the visit to Traditional Handicraft Centre will benefit the handicraftsmen by learning handicraft-making or buying their works.
- In Guizhou, Village home stays will benefit the local villagers directly.
- In Guizhou, visit and exchange with the local primary school and help to repair chairs & tables
- We join the “1kger program”, a grass-root NGO encouraging travellers to bring stationary and books to schools in rural areas with transportation limitation. We will bring stationary and books to the schools at Langde and Dazhai in Guizhou.
Environment:
- We will prepare reusable fork or chopsticks instead of using throwaway chopsticks. Our tour manager will bring along trash bags to make sure no littering on the journey.
- In Xi’an, the admission of visiting to the Wild Animal Protection Centre will be used for wild animal rehabilitation.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
