Small group cultural tours
Typically you will be sharing your experiences with between 4-20 like minded travellers (depending on the trip, operator and how many others are booked on the trip) and you'll have a group leader with you. Whether you are travelling alone or with friends it's good value, and a great way to meet new people! While itineraries are pre-planned there is some flexibility and you'll have plenty of privacy. This trip will appeal to travellers of all ages who enjoy meeting new people as well as experiencing new cultures.

How this holiday makes a difference

Environment
This wildlife and beach holiday offers a unique opportunity to combine inspirational wildlife watching with chilling out on pristine beaches – a perfect combination! Madagascar has a very high level of endemic plants and animals, occurring nowhere else in the world. This is the place where evolution has run wild. Truly a place like nowhere else on earth. This tour is designed to offer travellers of all ages a unique experience. We concentrate on nature not only lemurs, plants or birds – we make time for it all. Of course we include relaxing at the beaches, optional adventure activities like snorkelling or diving. By supporting responsible tourism in this sensitive area we are actively contributing to the massive conservation task.

The tour managers have a set of environmental guidelines that they work with and will share this information with you during your trip. We support understanding, appreciation and conservation of the cultures and environments we visit. We run our tours in a socially and environmentally responsible way.

We limit the group size on this tour to 12 to assist in reducing both the potential negative cultural and environmental impact of our tour.

Community
We work with Malagasy owned family-run accommodation and restaurants and buy our supplies in the market or small shops and employ the services of local guides within the parks as well as private areas we visit. We work mostly with Malagasy. Our Malagasy tour managers have mostly a 3-years formation in tourism business, are all trained by us in the importance of responsible tourism as well as first aid and other matters. Malagasy team of women and men is passionate about our country's history, heritage, natural beauty. We will advise you on the best way to observe wildlife inside and outside the parks and make you see our country through the eyes of a Malagasy. This makes the difference.

We support active and NGO in Madagascar and contribute a sum per visitor we pass with.

Day tour/Attraction Reviews

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
