We believe strongly in responsible tourism. We live work and run holidays in a stunning mountain environment, below Europe’s highest peak. The untouched beauty of our adventure sports playground is its biggest attraction, and keeping it that way is one of our main priorities.
What better way to help the environment then using your bike for transport rather than a car. Chamonix offers unbelievable cycling routes and our chalet staff are passionate about it. Don’t be surprised if at our office you see more bikes in the car park then cars. With the help of local guides you can uncover beautiful local ‘cols’ without leaving a mark on the environment. After a hard days cycling enjoy a good feed from all the food purchased locally then sleep comfortably in our recycle friendly chalets.
Either rent a bike or get yours tuned up by local French experts who, I guarantee, know everything about bikes and cycling. Here at Adventure Base we really promote Greener living and our favourite way is by the use of bikes. Hopefully some of that passion we have for it will stick with you encouraging you to use it more back home.
